Jamroc Jamaican Jerk Chicken

A few weeks ago, I saw an online deal for Jamroc Jamaican Jerk Chicken. For $16, I was able to get 2 meals with chips and a drink. For the meals you can choose either a burger, wrap or 1/2 chicken. We decided to get a meal with a wrap and a meal with the 1/2 chicken.

The chicken was grilled and basted in a chilli sauce (you can choose mild, medium, hot). The wrap was huge with pieces of chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, cheese and chilli sauce. The chips were really crunchy!

Everything about Jamroc reminded me of Nandos. The chicken, burgers, wraps and chips. All quite similar to Nandos, but the chilli sauce was a bit different. I thought Jamroc's chicken is juicier and more tender compared to Nandos, which can be quite dry sometimes, especially the breast. Jamroc also has a selection of other dishes, like curry etc, which is only available on certain nights.

There's only outside seating available at Jamroc and seating is quite limited. On Friday nights there is live music, so the place fills up quite quickly. I visited on a Friday night for dinner and was lucky that there was one table for 2 available. All the other tables were reserved.

Overall, I thought the food was nice and tasty, so would definitely visit again if I feel like spicy chicken!
