Aztec Chocolate

Aztec Chocolate - located in the shops area of Hilton, Surfers Paradise

Cake cabinet - all cakes are $5.90 for a slice
I randomly found this new chocolate place in Surfers Paradise and was keen on trying what they had to offer.

The menu consisted of coffee, tea, iced coffee/chocolate, various types of hot chocolates, pancakes and waffles. There was a cabinet full of cakes/muffins and another cabinet full of handmade chocolates as well.

We ordered a chai latte and a waffles with melted dark chocolate, strawberries, vanilla ice cream and cream. The chai latte was smooth and had just the right amount of spice. It also came with a small piece of chocolate, which I thought was quite nice. The waffles however, were quite disappointing. They were small, hard and too crunchy. It was pretty tasteless. The melted chocolate was nice though. The ice cream, strawberries and cream were pretty standard.  If I ever return to this chocolate place, I will try the hot chocolates. But they are more expensive compared to Max Brenner.

Chai Latte ($4) & Waffles ($8.50)
The seating area in this little chocolate place was very limited. There were only about 18-20 chairs inside and a couple of tables outside.

The staff were friendly but I think they need to improve on their procedure. We order and pay at the counter and then the staff brings out the food and drinks to us. BUT they don't give us any table numbers, so the waitress kept taking the food/drinks to the wrong table!
