Half Time Tea Bar

Breakfast
Half Time Tea Bar is located in the busy Market Square in Sunnybank. During breakfast time on the weekends, there is always a long queue of people buying breakfast to dine in or take away. The food items are displayed in the cabinet next to the counter. Basically, you just order from what you can see that is available. If it's not there, you can order and wait. There aren't many places in Sunnybank which offer a breakfast menu (besides yum cha), so this little store is quite busy. Also, with prices under $10 for all items, it's quite a cheap option for something hot and yummy.

I was fortunate enough to visit on a weekday morning instead of the weekend, to avoid the crowds. We ordered a congee, a beef roll and a deep fried dough stick. I think all up it was under $20. The food wasn't outstanding, but it was good value for money.

Service was so so, considering that we order and pay at the counter and take the food on a tray to an available table ourselves. All the chopsticks/spoons/tissue etc are already on the table.

Half Time Tea Bar serves lunch and dinner as well, but I am reluctant to try......... there are many more options for lunch/dinner in Sunnybank. Their lunch and dinner menu looked most ordinary.
