Chocolicious

Chocolicious is a little café/coffee shop hidden in an alleyway between MYER and Kmart at Pacific Fair. The location is away from the crowd, so offers a quiet and secluded place for catch ups with friends.

The menu consists of light meals like sandwiches, burgers, and salads. There is also a variety of cakes and slices that you can select from their display cabinet. And of course, there is coffee!

So why the name Chocolicious? Because just next door, there is a chocolate shop selling handmade chocolates and other sweets!

On this particular occasion, I visited Chocolicious with my mum for a quick lunch before doing some shopping. We both weren't too hungry, so we ordered a sandwich to share and a cake & coffee deal.

The sandwich was served fresh and was overflowing with filling! It was huge! The sandwich itself was very fresh and made me feel very healthy eating it. There wasn't too much additional flavour, other than from the ingredients itself. So, this is definitely something that you can make at home.

The pecan and caramel scroll was quite nice, with just the right amount of sweetness. There was a thin layer of buttercream inside the scroll, which didn't make it too oily/fatty to eat.

I don't remember the exact price of each item, but the total bill came to around $20. I can't say that it's really good value for money or that the food was exceptional. But for $10 per person, we got half a sandwich each, half a cake each and one cup of coffee. Does that sound good to you?
